Amaze
The Amaze-project was a part of the Experience Technology Module on Hyper Island. The brief was to create an interactive experience with a given technology. We got to work with Phidgets, Physical Widgets that are a bunch of diffrent sensors, knobs and buttons.
We ended up creating a sort of retro style interactive gaming experience that allowed four players to challenge eachother 2on2 in a labyrinth game. The goal is to find your teamate in the maze. The maze contains diffrent colorcoded doors that only would open if you pushed the right color on a wall that was located five meters behind the players. This forced the players to leave their controllers to run over to the wall, open the door and return to proceed through it.
My role
I shared the role as a developer with a classmate for this one and we worked together the whole time. Unfortunatly I missed the filmcrew who did a small (and pretty crappy) interview with our group at the exibithion.
Techniques used
The game is coded completely in Action Script 3 using the Phidget Flash API.
Colobo
Our project from the module Visual Communication.
The assignment was handed to us by our classmates who had developed the Colobo-concept in an earlier module, Concept & Development.
The brief featured creating a full graphic profile (logotype, colors, website, businesscards etc.) for the fictional business Colobo.
My role
This was my first time as a graphic producer. With orders from the groups Art Director i produced graphic elements for the design.
I <3 Bubbles
First flash assignment on Hyper. The brief was to create a “splash in flash” in a couple of hours. This was my first flash application using Action Script 3.
Random alien chick from space!
Personal work made using photoshop.
Wallbergs Hälsan
This was my first freelance job ever.
Brief:
Wallbergs Hälsan is a health research firm who is specialized on doing telephone interviews with diffrent companys about their employees health.
They did all their logging of their business with pen and paper. I was asked to do a easy to manage database that they could use locally to log their saved data about their clients.
I ended up building the whole interface from scratch using their colors and pictures.
Techniques used:
XHTML/CSS
PHP
MySQL
Javascript (jQuery)
Klaris
Personal work, illustration made using photoshop.
Checkmate
My final project on Södertörns University where I studied Media Technics in the fall of 2007.
Brief:
The task was to come up with a concept for a digital service of some sort. We found ourselves having a hard time organizing our project and therefor came up with the checkmate concept. It was basically an online to do-list which the client also could access and edit from their cellphones. After you had created a list, you were able to share it with your friends in your network. Nowdays there is a lot of similar applications such as Stixy, Evernote and more.
My role
In this project I worked as a developer together with two designers and a project leader. I did all the coding in PHP, MySQL and did the XHTML/CSS together with one of the designers.
